January 25th, 2012 | Posted by in iPad Games - (0 Comments)

As of writing this post, on whatever the date is, these are my top ten puzzle games for iPad. Of course if I find new ones I’ll go ahead and write a new thread. If you find any other good iPad puzzle games then please comment me a link to it, I’d love to check them out.

Where’s My Water

Disney has outdone itself with this game, in which you help Swampy the alligator get water for his hot shower after a long day’s work. Swampy the alligator lives in the sewers under the city, and the other alligators have messed up the flow of water so now Swampy can’t take his shower and he needs your help! This games is a physics based puzzle game with graphics by Retina that are out of this world.

Tetris for iPad

If you were a fan of the puzzle game Tetris on your graphing calculator or phone, then you will love this updated version of the game for your iPad. Tetris is back, and it’s in HD, not to mention that it has great new touch controls and intuitive features that most players are bound to love. And for those of you that were fans of the older game, this games comes with the original Tetris music too!

Puzzlejuice

You may not be familiar with Puzzlejuice, but don’t worry, as soon as you get this game you will be hooked. Puzzlejuice takes elements from all your favorite puzzle games and packs them into one brightly colored package that is sure to give your brain a run for its money. This game is supposed to challenge both spatial and verbal ability, and if it makes you frustrated, then don’t be surprised, because that’s what keeps people coming back for more!

Cut The Rope HD

If you are all about interesting puzzle games that keep you coming back for more just because they are so weird, then you will love Cut the Rope, because it’s up there with the best of them. In this game, you get a package, and inside is a little monster that wants candy. Your objective in this game is to feed the little monster, called an Om Nom, and you must catch the stars, cut the rope, and avoid all of the obstacles to win the game.

Fingle

If you like awkward two player puzzle games, then you need to check out Fingle. Fingle requires two players to move colored blocks on the screen from one place to the other, all the while your hands are getting intertwined, and you can’t mess up. This game is extremely complicated, and it has 50 mind bending levels to make even the most serious puzzle players confused and ready for more, at the same time. The music is also from the 70s, so you can get your groove on!

Monkey Quest: Thunderbow HD

In this epic saga game, you are the mighty monkey Thunderbow, and you must traverse a land full of evil creatures, including mummies, zombies, scorpians, and skeletons with only your trusted Boom Bow to help you survive. You are on an ultimate quest to get rid of Zotan, the evil cat ruler, and set everyone free of his tyrannical rule. And you can have a great many adventures along the way! But best of all, Thunderbow is an arcade style game, and the environments are completely destructible.

Angry Birds Rio HD

I’m sure that everyone has heard of this game, and there isn’t a single person that isn’t excited about having this game to play. Angry Birds Rio has new settings, new features, and the same old loveable cast of birds and pigs. Now there is a new beginning that starts with the Smugglers plane as a setting, and there are new unique twists that are based on the movie. If you are ready to play six different episodes with over 165 levels, then you need to check out Angry Birds ASAP.

Scribblenauts Remix

In this game you are creating things to help you solve challenges so that you can help Maxwell get the Starite. This game is epic not because it has great graphics or because the puzzles are some of the most brain-teasing in the business, but because you can literally create anything that you can imagine, making it the first game that actually allows you to control the graphics as well – talk about total control and genius planning.

Cut the Rope: Experiments HD

If you are a fan of Cut the Rope, then you will certainly love Cut the Rope: Experiments, because just as the Om Nom’s need for candy has reached borderline insane levels, the Professor is also doing more experiments in this new Rocket Science based game. This new game features 25 new levels of the game in which you can use the new feature, the rocket, to shoot candy into the Om Nom’s mouth at the speed of light.

Wheel of Fortune HD

Most of you might be familiar with the TV game show Wheel of Fortune, but this new electronic version of the game will still blow your mind, from the true to show soundtrack, and sound effects, to the dazzling play wheel that shows colors much better in 3D, this game is the top of the top. There are even 3D customizable contestants that you can create to play the game for you. Best of all, there are 1400+ game puzzles written by the creators of the actual show!

MyPadMedia Review

Our Rating: ★★★★½

So you’re interested in getting into online downloading of media files onto your iPad, and you’re looking for a good company whose services you can use in the long term.  Mypadmedia.com is a well designed site that has a lot of things to offer iPad owners.   The slogan of this website is the following: “Unlimited eBooks for the iPad,” it it definitely adheres to that saying with over thirty thousand titles available. The worst part about it? That extremely loud recording of the person talking when you go to their site – although admittedly a minor inconvenience.

What MyPadMedia Actually Offers (30k+ titles)

  • Novels
  • Classic & New Comics
  • Newspapers
  • Magazines
  • Limited Time Bonus: TV Streaming

Technical Support, Policies & Money Back Guarantee

You are  entitled to free 24-hour technical support, and that goes a long way when you aren’t quite as tech-savvy as you might like. They have fairly fast downloads for your iPad and (the best part in my opinion) you won’t have to pay any monthly fees or downloading charges. I wasn’t able to find it on their site but in their affiliate information it says they are currently offering a 60 day money-back guarantee.

Some Popular iPad Titles Currently at MyPadMedia

  • The Help
  • Game of Thrones
  • The Girl Who Played with Fire
  • Eat Pray Love
  • Diary of a Wimpy Kid
  • 127 Hours
  • The Hunger Games Trilogy

Testimonials

I don’t want to copy and paste the testimonials that people have given for MyPadMedia (for copyright reasons) but if you check out their site you will see a few of them. One person was excited because they were able to download the whole Twilight series very quickly. Another testimonial gave praise for the Spider Man and X-Men iPad comics that the site offers.

Pricing

MyPadMedia.com is offering their members unlimited downloads of novels, comics, newspapers, and magazines for the  price of their one time membership fee (which is currently $49.95 if you follow our link). When I purchased it it was $99.99 so I feel sort of stupid for getting it previously but it’s a good deal for new customers.

If you are looking to download movies with your iPad, then DownloadiPadMovies might be a great stop for you.  Like the name states, this site is a great place to find all of your favorite movies to watch.  Interested in learning a little bit more about this website?  DownloadiPadMovies offers more than just movies, so if you are interested in eBooks, applications, music, and many more things, than you may want to consider looking into this site, because if they don’t have something for you, then who else will?  And top it all off, dowloadipadmovies.com has the largest file network of any organization on the internet.

Support & Price

This service offers access to quickly downloadable movies, and twenty four-seven support staff so that if you ever encounter and problems with the software, they will be there to help you figure it all out.  This site also offers a policy of no hidden fees or download charges, which is nice to know, given that so many downloading sites these days come with all kinds of surprise fees and red tape – choose the site that doesn’t have those kind of things. At the time of writing this you can get full access to their database for $49.95.

Money Back Guarantee

If you aren’t satisfied with their service then they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. This seems fairly generous for a download site since you can’t exactly return something you’ve already downloaded.

Top Movies

Let the movies speak for themselves.  They have many, many choices available, including the following top titles: The American, Machete, Takers, The Last Exorcism, and Going the Distance, to name a few.  But there are many, many more, so if you are not interested in the titles that I have listed, then you should go on to DownloadiPadMovies and check it out for yourself, because there are so many to choose from, you really should be able to find something that you like.

They also have listed for their members all of the most recently downloaded movies from the site, and these include: Puss in Boots, A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas, In Time, Real Steel, The Ides of March, Tower Heist, Paranormal Activity 3, Footloose, The Rum Diary, and Moneyball.  So if you are interested, go ahead and check out their website. Their service seems to be fairly consistent with what they claim on their website.
